So one of my besties asked me to do a painting for her of the spot where they got married which happened to be under some amazing live oaks in Hattiesburg, MS... dreamy. We got ideas together and decided it needed to be ethereal, light and airy because that is how we feel on our wedding day (or that is how we remember it in pictures...stay tuned to how we really feel) but I thought it was so cool that the live oaks represent strength, the covenant and the weight of it, and our choice of this partner for life. So it was a bit of a challenge for me to get what was inside of my head to come out on a canvas with the look and feel we both wanted. So here is what I did...
