The 2016 Double Decker Arts Festival in our hometown of Oxford, MS was my BEST so far! Thank you to everyone who came to my booth, who encouraged me, who came last year or the year before and came AGAIN- wow so humbling, and especially to those of you who supported me by purchasing a piece of art -its because of you guys that i can continue painting and pushing myself to explore different ways to express all that is inside of me!! I have so much hope and excitement for the next season and i have many ideas to get onto the canvas!!
I'll just list some highlights of the day so i'll remember and be able to go back whenever i need some encouragement or just to smile and think back on that wonderful day...
-kylie & bowman surprise visit, katie & kelly (& so many yl leaders who came by)
-sam asking allen to officiate their wedding!! (and seeing MEllyn)
-mallory...all of you!!
-seeing a few families who commissioned paintings in the past and talking
-having a few people who came last year to my booth and were back with photographs of paintings they like
-ellie grace selling ALL of her sweet painting -thank you kacie & molly and a few more!
-the delicious chicken salad wrap from Shelter (all 3 bites-too busy to eat)(( which was another highlight all in itself))
-laughing and catching up with friends in town to visit
-holding babies
-got to walk down 1 row and saw some incredible artwork going on!
-meredith piper doing so well
-the Lowe's allowing me to use their air conditioned office to use the restroom and get cold water (was dreading the porta potty with my pretty long white dress)
-my dad and mom coming up all for me!

-dolly & brooke and their hubby's help cleaning up (fastest getaway yet -thanks josh!)
